Michael W. McDonald, MD is one of a handful of highly trained surgeons in the country trained in Smart Lipo or Laser Lipolysis. Dr. McDonald graduated from the University of Ottawa medical school in Ottawa, Canada. After he completed his residency in urological surgery at the University of Ottawa he was accepted to the prestigious University of San Francisco, California. Under the direction of renowed nationally recognized surgeons he completed his minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical fellowship. He has been performing minimally invasive and laser surgery successfully for the past 15 years.
Dr. McDonald is both American and Canadian Board certified surgeon. He has received liposuction and smart-lipo training at one of the leading accredited national and international centers. He successfully completed his training under the direct supervision of a nationally recognized leader in the SMARTLIPO laser technology.
